What we use them for
This website keeps things deliberately simple. The storage it uses falls into two groups, and both are there to make a specific thing work rather than to follow you around the internet:
- Making the site work for you — remembering the cottage and dates you have chosen while you fill in a booking, and keeping you signed in to the owner and staff area.
- Taking payment — when you pay a deposit or balance, Stripe's own secure payment pages set the cookies they need to complete the transaction. Those cookies are set by Stripe on Stripe's pages, not by us.
We do not install analytics or advertising cookies, we do not build a profile of your browsing, and we do not pass your cookie data to third parties for marketing.
Turning cookies off
As a rule, cookies will make your browsing experience better. However, you may prefer to disable cookies on this site and on others. The most effective way to do this is to disable cookies in your browser.
